Facebook Redesigned: How To Get New Design Facebook Home Page 2013
Facebook announced Thursday it is giving its venerable news feed a new look and feel. Big changes are coming to the Facebook News Feed, the social networking giant revealed in a press conference today.

The Facebook News Feed (the area of the site that holds all of your friends' and Liked pages' posts in a stream) will be given an overhaul, with a new interface that's "mobile-inspired" in its design that will turn Facebook into a "personalised newspaper", according to CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The aim is also to further align the look of the desktop version of the network and its many mobile variants.

The new news feed design was inspired by mobile. It takes significant cues from the Facebook mobile apps for phones and tablets, adding a new side navigation bar and more white space.

A colleague who passed out from IIIT Hyderabad tells am anecdote. Once some college kids just out of enthusiasm (mind it, IIIT-H comes on par with those IITs and BITS-Pilani at least in Computer Sc) were attending a seminar that he(Fadia) said will be organizing and he was blabbering his usual bullshit. 

In the meantime the CS HOD arrived and thought it's some paper presentation or so sat there. Within 5 minutes he went to the stage and told Fadia coolly "Get the out of here, you moron".

The Ubuntu smartphone (which no one will use) is a glimpse of the future


Ubuntu's new mobile software will let users run their PC from their phone.

One of Linux's biggest players is heading to mobile. The new Ubuntu has a gesture heavy interface and will be entering the market amid a number of mature operating systems. We have reservations about how it will fair in the crowded mobile market but are interested to see how Canonical's open-source OS develops. Follow along here as Canonical works to bring mobile Ubuntu into consumers' hands.
